NBSC Signs MOA with the Manolo Fortich Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Inc. for TABO-AN Project
April 30, 2025 โ Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) formally entered into a strategic industry partnership with the Manolo Fortich Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Incorporated, through a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony for the project TABO-AN: Technology Adaptation to Boost Opportunities and Network. The event also featured Information Sessions on Industry Gaps and Opportunities, highlighting the projectโs commitment to bridging the gap between education and industry needs.
The MOA Signing was held at the NBSC Board Room with the key members of MFCCII, led by the President, Mr. Steve Anthony S. Borongan, and Adviser, Engr. Arthur โBongโ Quiblat
The MOA signifies a collaborative effort to enhance studentsโ skills, promote innovation, and align academic training with current technological and labor market demands.
The college was represented by Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Division, who led the event, Dr. Helen E. Maasin, Vice President for Administration and Finance, and Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs. They stood in for NBSC President Dr. Christie Jean Villanueva-Ganiera, CESE.

Immediately following the signing, the first batch of students from the Institute for Computer Studies participated in an orientation session focused on industry trends and employment opportunities, officially launching the implementation phase of the TABO-AN project at the Library Complex. This is the first among the six sessions to be conducted for the students of NBSC.
This initiative is a milestone in NBSCโs continuing mission to provide relevant and responsive education that empowers students and supports regional development.
